TEHRAN - Members of the Construction and Technical and Engineering Services Committee of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA) held a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the current issues and challenges in the country’s construction and housing sector.

As the TCCIMA portal reported, in this meeting, the members of the committee criticized the absence of any representative from the private sector of the country in the Supreme Housing Council and demanded that a representative from the private sector be accepted in this council to help formulate policies in the field of housing construction.

Speaking at the meeting, Iraj Rahbar, the head of the committee, underlined the role of the TCCIMA in reflecting, following up and solving the challenges in the field of construction and emphasized the necessity of the presence of the representative of the private sector in the Supreme Housing Council.
